Mu Alpha Theta

Mathematics Honor Society

Mu Alpha Theta is the National High School and Two Year College Mathematics Honor Society. The DBCS chapter was established January 22, 2007, and seeks to glorify God by promoting scholarship in, and enjoyment and understanding of mathematics among the students of our school. Activities have included sponsoring Math-A-Thon fundraising programs for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, participating in the annual CNU Regional High School Mathematics Contest, and making Jeopardy-style review games in a PowerPoint presentation format for the Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 classes. Mr. Jim Cass is the sponsor.
